6.16.010 Garbage Defined - Burning Prohibited
No person shall burn garbage within the town limits. "Garbage" defined as food waste.
6.16.020 Refuse, Non-Combustible Refuse, and Dangerous Materials Defined - Burning Prohibited
No person shall burn non-combustible refuse or dangerous materials within the town limits. "Refuse" is defined as rubbish, plant life, trade waste, and trash. "Non-Combustible Refuse" is that which will not ignite and burn. "Dangerous Material" are those which are capable of exploding, detonating, or creating a foul or offensive odor upon combustion.
6.16.030 Hours
Before 10:00a.m. and after 4:00p.m. No person shall burn outdoors any combustible refuse.
6.16.050 Nuisance Declared & Abatement Penalty for Violation
Violation of this chapter are nuisances and the town is authorized to abate such nuisances. Any person, persons, firm, corporation, or organization violating this chapter shall be fined the sum of $10.00 each day that the violation occurs or continues constitutes a separate offense.
