Storm Water Mgmt Board
The Speedway Storm Water Management Board consists of three members, two of which are Speedway residents and the third person is a member of the Town Council. This bipartisan board is funded by property tax assessments and has responsibility for storm water drainage issues. Members of the SWMB assist the Town with assessing and addressing community concerns and needs regarding storm water. The SWMB has been an effective and active public entity that has developed policies and standards for the Town.
The members are:
- Jeff Hartman, Council Representative
- Paul Maves, Speedway Resident
- Carrie Doehrmann, Speedway Resident
The Storm Water Management Board usually meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 5:00p.m at the Speedway Town Hall Auditorium located at 1450 N. Lynhurst Drive. Due to the work schedule of one board member, the meeting day may change. Please continue to check this website for updates.
Public participation at meetings has further served to expose and educate the citizens about storm water quality and volume control. The monthly SWMB meetings provide a public arena for citizens to voice their ideas and concerns regarding the Storm Water Quality Management Plan and storm water issues in general.
